Job Status: Part Time or Full Time Seasonal
Salary: $20.00 – $26.00/hr. based on experience
Reports To: General Manager and Operations Manager
Environment: 100% Outdoor – Varying Weather
Work Schedule: Full Time or Part Time. March -November 4 days a week- 7:20am-6pm 3 day weekend
Starting early spring (dependent on weather) through late fall.
Position Summary:
Pleasant View Gardens is hiring Garden Maintenance Crew Members! Do you love working in the garden, enjoy plants, and take pride in doing quality work? In this role, you’ll help maintain and beautify gardens, care for plants and landscapes, and make sure every project looks its best. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planting, Weeding, and soil amendment
- Trimming and sculpting of trees and shrubs
- Watering, fertilizing, deadheading and general tidying of gardens
- Mulching of garden beds
- Garden clean ups, Garden renovation
- Insect identification and control
- Small equipment operation
- Taking and executing direction from a supervisor in a timely and efficient manner
Additional Skills:
- Education and/or professional experience in gardening or horticulture helpful
- Certification from the Minnesota Landscape Association, Master Gardener certification, pesticide license, or other licenses and certifications a plus
- Clean Driving record and Class D drivers license, and the ability to drive a pickup, possibly with a trailer
- Fluency in spanish beneficial
- Must have availability to work four 10 hour+ days with a vacation freeze (no requested vacation) in the month of May.

Pay range $20.00 – $28.00/hr. based on experience, education, licensures, and qualifications.
